Not usually. But if you want to you certainly can, there are no rules against it.

  2. It seems to be becoming a popular thing to do, but I don’t think I will do that, too much else to think about, and when the day finally comes I just want to relax and enjoy it!!

  5. You don’t have to…but most brides I have been around like to say a little something at the bridal breakfast. Mostly just thank everyone for their help and tell them how you appreciate them being there for your special day.

  6. I’ve never heard of a wedding breakfast, but the bride can make a speech whenever she wants! I know the bride and groom usually make a speech at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, thanking everyone for being in there for them. If you aren’t having a rehearsal dinner, then yes, I think you should make that speech at your wedding breakfast (sounds different and I like it! I may have to "borrow" it instead of having a rehearsal dinner).

  7. She can. But wedding breakfasts aren’t popular where I’m from (midwest), so I’ve never actually been to one. But the bride can make a speech at the reception, so I assume it’s fine for her to do it at the breakfast as well.
