It seems to be becoming a popular thing to do, but I don’t think I will do that, too much else to think about, and when the day finally comes I just want to relax and enjoy it!! References :
You don’t have to…but most brides I have been around like to say a little something at the bridal breakfast. Mostly just thank everyone for their help and tell them how you appreciate them being there for your special day. References :
I’ve never heard of a wedding breakfast, but the bride can make a speech whenever she wants! I know the bride and groom usually make a speech at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, thanking everyone for being in there for them. If you aren’t having a rehearsal dinner, then yes, I think you should make that speech at your wedding breakfast (sounds different and I like it! I may have to "borrow" it instead of having a rehearsal dinner). References :
She can. But wedding breakfasts aren’t popular where I’m from (midwest), so I’ve never actually been to one. But the bride can make a speech at the reception, so I assume it’s fine for her to do it at the breakfast as well. References :
